Well the love for my Passat started back in November of 2001. I had been looking for cars for the past year or so, when I pulled into the dealers lot and saw the Passat sitting there on its 17's and tinted glass. I was like DAMN that's hot, but figured it was out of my price range.

So I was looking at a Mustang and the salesman and I went in side to work up a deal. He asked me what I thought about the blue car out front I replied it's HOT! Next thing I know he's throwing me the key and the salesman says take it out while I run the numbers. I wasn't going to argue.

Well it's all history after that little test drive, I was in love. I took the Passat home December 3, 2001. Shortly after that I stumbled upon VW Vortex. I lurked there for a couple months. I finally posted and IIRC TheGreatSwami pointed out ClubB5 to me and lets just say mod fever hit and it hasn't gone away.

Now am also enjoying the happy little family of B5one. The first mod I bought for my whip was a shorty antenna from ABD racing. Then after that the ever so famous Kamei grille. My car was starting to take shape and I was in heaven.

I just want to add that I do all my own modifications and work on my whip, with help from my good buddy Tim (AKA Homes). And finally we see what just under a year of modding has made of my whip. I do have more mods due this coming week, kinda bummed they won't be installed in time for this, oh well. When I was notified about this, I was so surprised and shocked that my car was even thought about for this achievement. I want to thank everyone involved with my car and of course my girlfriend (Lindsey) who deals with me and my obsession. I also want to thank everyone at B5one for their support and allowing me to be apart of the family. I've added a list of modification and some pictures, enjoy!
