1.8T VOTEX (Chris)

Well it all began back in 1999 when I stepped into the VW dealership here in Miami Florida. I originally was looking for a used 1997 Jetta VR6, but what really caught my eye was sitting right in front of me. It was a brand new 1999 VW Passat V6 5speed in Windsor blue. Right when I took it off the lot the mods began. Slapped on some 18 inch MAE with 225/40 ZR 18 ToyoÕs, H&R race drop, momo sphere shift knob, cleared out all the lights. Kamei Grill, long eyebrows, and Negative 3% tints. Yes that is a very dark window...LOL...

All that came to an end because the car was leased, but guess what? I went right back into the dealership and got myself into a new 2003 1.8T silver 5 speed Passat. It was love at first site when I first saw the new model change back in 2001, and I said to myself, ÒI have to get one.Ó So I did, and man I am one happy guy. I was a good friend with the General Manager at the time so he made me an offer I could not refuse. A brand spanking new 2003 1.8T Passat 5 speed, black leather interior, home link system, luxury package, Monsoon sound system, 19Ó Rims and tires, sport springs, and aluminum dash trim kit. Everything installed and painted for under 28K.

Again I went right into adding more modÕs to the car. The first was the Euro switch from senna on ClubB5 (thanks senna). Then I said oh what the hell, lets put on the HIDÕs. So I bought HIDÕs from Autolamps-online in London thanks Mike (QuailAllStar). I got the 4100k white color lights to keep the OEM look. Tinted the car with 5% tints. Then I purchased the Kamei front grill had it painted and Mike (QuailAllStar) helped me out with the install. Here is the list of all my mods and future mods:
