First off, I'd like to thank you for the honor of beign nominated for oneB5 this month. I never thought I'd ever get to that status. I've just been making my car my own and trying to keep some money ;).

It's a great honor to join the ranks and I'm almost speechless. But there is a story to my past:  I was 16 when I was given the option to begin a payment plan with my father for the Passat. At the time, it was nothing special, he had ASA JH5 chrome wheels on it and it looked cool. It had a standard and was extremely comfortable. I joined a club online that May and began my lurk about the car. The day I was given the keys, it looked like so:

I was young and didn't know much, but I began to learn. As I got older the car got duller, so the only option was to modify it and make her truly mine. I started with a badge less grill and then came new headlights. A couple years went by and I finally got a decent job and the mod bug struck with vengence. I ordered custom badges from TM Tuning and debadged my trunk for the smooth look.

I moved up from 17 inch wheels to 18 inch HP Racing Evos and got used Koni Sport Kit suspension, smoked fender markers, stubby antenna and by summer of 2008 it was lowered on 18's. At the end of 2008, it sat as I thought it would forever:

I thought I was done, but recently I decided the interior was boring and with the help of Nesho I did the custom W8 chrome trim on the doors and dash. I had a custom Magnaflow exhaust installed removing the suitcase and straight piping it to a muffler. I plan to upgrade to black leather for the black and tan look and most recently I have gone on to 18 inch Audi RS6 wheels. I have a few more mods planned for this summer and we'll see how far it goes, but I'm quite satisfied with the current look. She's my baby and I plan to keep her til she dies. And this is how she currently sits:
