To start, here is a little about my VW history. Since my first car I've been driving VW's. The first car was 1990 Jetta Wolfsburg diesel which I sold my snowmobile for (yes, I lived in Maine at the time). It had 120,000 miles when I sold it for the next vehicle, which was a 2000 Jetta GLS VR6 with Monsoon, sunroof, leather, cold weather package and 16" wheels. This was my first new car purchase and I put 78,000 miles on it until the day it was traded for a 2004 GLI VR6. In the meantime I convinced the wifey (Shannon) she needed a 2002 W8 Passat, so we flew to Ohio to get one for an insanely low price (new). The W8 was later traded for her current Grand Cherokee. But back to the VW's...in August of 2007 I sold the GLI with all the mods on it, this lead me to the current vehicle which is why I'm writing what you read now.

In September of 2007 I purchased a 2006 Passat 3.6 with sport package 2 and rear airbags. The car was a dealer demo located in Greenwich, CT with 9263 miles on the clock. It is truly an amazing car even with all the little issues I've had. With that said, it has been a pleasure to have been selected for this month's oneB5, to all who had a say in this, Thank You. Also I'd like to express my gratitude for such a good community on B5one.

Once the B6 was parked in the driveway the modding thoughts started running through my head. I've tried very hard to keep my modifications almost stock. Most are minor changes with the exception of the suspension upgrade, only about 9 hours of work with Stephen (NH VW Junky) helping. Thanks again Junky, hopefully you put that thank you tequila to good use. To this date, here are the current modifications:
