I would like to thank Bryan, President of B5one, and to everyone who has elected me to be September's oneB5. It is truly an honor to be a part of this distinguished gala of B5s at B5one.com. I also would like to thank my father for sparking my passion for VWs especially for the Passat. My fellow Passat enthusiasts. Your cars up through today have been an inspiration, which drives my passion and love for our Passats.

It all started when my father bought our first Passat back in 2003. A black, all-leather interior, V6 engine, and a unique exterior styling, it appealed to me for the first time. My father, having been familiar with the Volkswagen brand since owning a couple of first generation Beetles back in the day, decided to place his loyalty back to the German brand after many years of owning Japanese vehicles. For me, it was love at first sight and it did not end there.

A couple of years later, I finally bought my own! A 2002 Passat with Storm Beige exterior color with matching all-beige leather interior, I was living my dream! It was not long before I was starting to think about modifications. Upon the discovery of B5one.com and another Passat enthusiasts website, soon after, I was planning my first mod, a German badge. Who would ever forget his first mod? Then after months and months of planning, I bought my suspension kit followed by a set of 17Ó S4 wheels. From that point, having seen a wide variety of modded Passats, I have decided to pursue the OEM look. My goal is to take my Passat to the next OEM level of "what could have been if it were" style.

This year, I have taken another major step for my Passat. I had the stock lower valance painted to color match the body, bought 18" Audi A8L multi-spoke wheels, and finally an OEM front chin spoiler. Another major step for my Passat is my participation in Vagkraft, Canada's biggest VW Audi show in Toronto. This is the first time I would be participating in a distinguished event.

I am extremely happy on how far I have gone through taking my Passat to a level of where it is now. If it has not been to B5one and to all who have supported me, I would have not gotten this far. Once again, I would like to express my greatest honor and pleasure of being chosen oneB5 for the month of September 2008.
