What an honor, oneB5 for November 2005. When I intiatally opened the private message from Bryan on October 4th, I was thinking it was something to do with the Falklassikere GTG we had just had, but as I began to read on I was asking myself is my car worthy of being in a group with the select few who have also had this honor.

Ever since I was young, I've had the pleasure of owning german enginereed vehicles as far back as my first car at the age of 16. It was a 1984 Audi Coupe GT, something that for as long as I can remember I have loved more then any other vehicle out there was just the way that these things drive and no matter how hard you drive them they will just keep on performing for you. With the luxurious ride and the visions of what I can make out of my daily driver, it has really pushed me to new limits especially with my B5.

Three weeks after my college graduation in 2004 I began looking for a new car something that would be presentable for those job interviews that I was soon to be showing up for. I test drove a number of A4s and some new Jettas. Even an '86 911. One day, when I picked up the local paper, I found a B5. Not 10 minutes went by, and I was on the phone with the owner and within an hour had paid and was driving the car home. I picked it up with 60,000 miles on the clock and its been a very memorable 50,000 since then.

Not until I searched around and found a few of the online forums did I really start to get the mod itch. I often spoke to 00Psst through email since I found him on PW locally. Not until a few months after I stopped seeing Mike on PW did I find B5one. This forum has been all good for me from the kind people that are here in the morning before work and post up at work, to everyone I've met in person and at shows and GTG, its been great and I really value the friendships that I've made here.
